Job Description :
Food processing and distribution facility is in search of a skilled and kind-hearted Blending Associate. The Blender is responsible to ensure that the product blended has the quality and security expected by the customer. This position performs all ingredient handling, including mixing dry ingredients, and tanker connection.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to operate the clean in place system to clean and sanitize equipment, tanks and pipes.
- Must be able to participate in safety inspections.
- Must be able to dump both dry and liquid ingredients for batch blending.
- Initiates and manages transfer from tankers and crushers to blend tanks.
- Must be able to perform tank to tank transfers.
3rd shift: 9:45pm-6:15pm
Starting pay: $18.00
Location: Haines City, FL
Required Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Must have 2-3 years of forklift experience.
- Must have experience in working with liquids and huge blending machines and have knowledge on mixing and measuring juices into large tankers.
- Must be able to use a tape measure.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to follow Osha Guidelines and procedures.
- Must have experience in working with liquids and beverages.
- Must be able to lift 30lbs and more for this required position.
- Knowlege of bottling experience a plus.
