Seeking a skilled Fitter to join our structural fabrication shop. We are a full-service steel fabrication facility servicing a wide range of customers throughout the United States with unmatched expertise.

As a Fitter, you will be responsible for performing various duties related to mechanical assembly and machining. The ideal candidate has fitter experience, mechanical knowledge, experience in using hand tools and machining equipment. If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Previous Mig or Tig welding experience is highly beneficial.

RESPONSABILITIES:

• Perform mechanical assembly tasks according to specifications and blueprints.

• Use hand tools, such as wrenches and screwdrivers, to assemble components.

• Operate machining equipment to fabricate parts as needed.

• Measure and inspect parts using tools such as micrometers and calipers.

• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or related field


• Previous experience as a Mig welder is preferred.


• Proficiency in using hand tools and machining equipment.


• Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers


• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Please note that this position may require the ability to operate a crane or other heavy machinery. Prior experience with crane operation is preferred but not required.

Monday to Friday (Some Saturdays)

6:00am to 3:30pm (overtime is to be expected)

Pay: $23.00 to $28.00
