We are a high-volume metal stamping company located in the Garland area and we are seeking an energetic, responsible candidate who has experience with hydraulic metal stamping presses. The ideal candidate will also have a general knowledge of progressive stamping dies.

Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

Pay Range: $20-$25 depending on experience

• Operates a hydraulic metal stamping press to shape materials used in manufacturing operations in the production department


• Performs operations such as blanking, bending, punching, forming, based on blueprints and other instructions


• Responsibilities include configuring equipment and checking the quality of the product while operating, recognizing condition of dies, loading materials to the equipment, feeding material through die, and positioning and removing parts from the die


• Keeps a record of the number of pieces made and of any significant tasks performed , as well as any in-process inspections that were performed while in production


• Familiarity with micrometers, calipers and gauges


• Able to read blueprints


• Knows how to change, set and cut dies


• Extensive knowledge with sheet metal
